Hello, I’m Michele,  the creator of Paint Your World, a warm and welcoming art studio on the Mornington Peninsula. I’m a creative event planner, art facilitator, and accredited medium with more than 17 years of experience supporting people through creativity, intuition, and connection.

My work is all about helping people feel safe, seen, and inspired. Whether I’m guiding a complete beginner, encouraging a child to trust their imagination, working with groups or supporting an NDIS participant to express themselves in new ways, my approach is always gentle, inclusive, and deeply people‑focused.

My Philosophy of Creativity

​

I believe creativity belongs to everyone. It isn’t about talent, it’s about expression, curiosity, and giving yourself permission to explore. When people feel supported and free from judgment, something beautiful happens: they relax, they open up, and their creativity begins to flow naturally.

To me, art is a form of self‑care. It’s a way to slow down, breathe, reconnect, and rediscover joy. Creativity helps us express what words can’t, and it reminds us that we are capable of making something meaningful with our own hands.

Why I Do This

​

I do this because I’ve seen how transformative creativity can be. Over the years, I’ve watched anxious adults soften, kids light up with confidence, and people who thought they “weren’t artistic” surprise themselves with what they can create. I’ve seen art bring calm, connection, laughter, and healing.

Creating Paint Your World was my way of offering a space where people can come exactly as they are, no pressure, no expectations, and leave feeling lighter, brighter, and more connected to themselves. I love witnessing those moments when someone’s eyes sparkle because they’ve created something they didn’t think they could. Those moments are why I teach. They are why this studio exists.
